Plug your computer into the master socket and the other 5 sockets will power up when you turn your computer on and power down when the computer is off. Includes surge protection. Another 2 sockets would always stay on and can be used to connect any devices that requires an uninterrupted power supply. Picked up mine at the local Tesco store for a discounted price. It was marked down to €10.74, previously it was €41.20.

I don't have to bother climbing under my desk to turn off the printer and other connected stuff anymore. Think of buying one - even if you don't care about the planet, it will save you money and lots of hassles.
